belly pans
not the front one under the engine, but the rear ones. what kind of nut secures them to the screws. are they available from the dealer? what do I ask for?
I had one flaping at high speed. The air would force it down onto the road and it made it rub the road. Made a he11 of a noise, sounded like worn out pads metal to metal against the rotors. Took me a while to figure out where that noise was coming from. There are screws coming down from the floor, what kind of nut is used? I was going to buy some unthreaded nylon nuts, but I'd rather have the original stuff. Can anybody help? thanks...........mike ( GO PENS ) ps, it's a hockey night in Pittsburgh tomorrow night, as Badger Bob always said "it's a great day for hockey" |

Sorry, but no help on the belly pan...I know a lot of guys that have removed the front ones and just don't use them. Don't know how this is on the TT though. |
Re: belly pans
Yea, Badger Bob was a great coach. "it's a great day for hockey" banners were always hung at the igloo (mellon arena), and I'm sure they will be hanging at our new arena, I'll let ya know for sure next week cause I got tickets for the 15th. I'll take some pics and post them. I'm glad he got to win the cup with the Pens in 91 before he died.
