GH Meet - Tuesday Aug 31
 

Back by popular demand is our Meet & Wing night. We have decided to meet up again at the same location as last time being the Bronte Harbour Yacht Club at the foot of Bronte Rd. Oakville. Great location to meet up with the lake as a backdrop. We can go for a short cruise ending up in Bronte for wings.

Hope to talk about upcoming events and social activities.

Lets have a great turn out. All are welcome and hope to see some new members.

Can't make it as I am golfing that day and without my car as the water pump failed today. Had to have her towed into the dealer in Hamilton. Sucks as I am holiday this week. At least it failed before we got too far from home. Sucks as the car is a 2010 with a known history of water pump failure. They only fix it when it fails! I even had to arrange my own tow or wait 5 hours for so called "Audi service.". I am now driving a Clay mobile, an 08 A4 with the 3.2 until she's fixed.

Wow sorry to hear that a 2010 with an already failed water pump. Rough luck.:(

I will be driving the living bejesus out of their courtesy car. I plan to put 1,000 km in three days on it!

Don't think I'm going to make this one guys.....my wife is out of town on business T/W and I don't think I'll be able to line up a sitter for the little 'weasel'.

I think I found a turbo but its in niagara falls so i will be heading down there soon to pick it up

Hello Perry:

The location as mentioned will be at the Bronte Yacht Club which is at the bottom (lake end) of Bronte Road in Oakville. From the QEW take Bronte Rd and turn left or South. Go as far as you can go (past Lakeshore Rd) and turn left at the end. We will be in the parking lot of the Yacht Club.

I was going to ask exactly where we are meeting but Mike's last post covered it. Looking forward to seeing you all and meeting anyone who's new or I didn't get to meet last time.

Close but no cigar. The area indicated is the Bronte Harbour Yacht Club off Lakeshore. Follow Bronte Rd past Lakeshore to the end where it turns left. The parking area is on the right.

I may end up coming after all.....that's if my car still operates after the ECUs timing retard due to HEEEEAAATTTT soak!!!!!

I'll also be bringing the weasel. At least he'll have some boats and water to look at if he gets bored with the cars :)
