Okay so i just bought a 2005 audi a4 1.8t with 113k on it it sounds good runs good put about 300 miles on it already. On my way to erie pa today the headlights dimmed and all the electronics cut out then came on and the battery indicator came on im 200 miles from home please help me if you have any info on the culprit it was snowing and cold and it sound like a bad battery but im not sure thanks guys!

 

Most likely a bad battery. Possibly alternator.
