Is it time for an Audi class Action Lawsuit ??
Hi guys,
I just had my fill with Audi and their insistence that it is completely normal that my 2009 A4 2.0 can burn 1/2 a litre of oil every 1000km. I burn a quart every 2500km's or so. I've been back and forth on this topic and now I've had it. I know there are many owners having the same issue. what can be done and who is will ing to get it started. This is ridiculous. Please let me know how many people want to get involved. If we are a large enough group, they will have no choice but to do something about it.

Are you talking to the dealer or Audi Canada. If you're talking to the dealer please tell us which one. I'd call up the dealer owner and say "You guys are giving me the run around, if you don't fix my car, I'm going to call Brad Beckett, Director of Sales Audi Canada."
That should put the them in their place. Remember, you're their client, you don't have to be nice.

I'd love to meet the engineer that came up with this as being normal.

That's crazy. Raise some hell. I'm sure we have enough trouble makers here to back you up.
Tell them to fix it or we're all going to BMW.

I'm really starting to wonder if I should't have done that to begin with. I had a hell of a deal on a 500 series but opted to go to Audi. It's starting to look like a bad move.

From all the forums/threads I've read on this issue, and barring any other mechanical problems, how the car was broken in and how the piston rings were seated in the process seems to be the main culprit. Check the addys below, and the AW forum too.... more of the same:

Ive owned a 2011 a4 for 5 mths now and I'm putting in a liter every 300 to 400 km its not the dealers its Audi Canada that doesn't want to fix the problem so I think the only way is lawsuit.
