Buyer beware.

Purchase rims and winter tires for my 2009 A4 from Ottawa Tires Direct. Since the install the tires and rims have had a noticable vibration. They have indicated several times they would fix the problem but have done nothing about it - keep postponing an appointment with another service dealer that can fix the problem b/c apparently they do not have the equipment to address the issue.

I would strongly encourage avoidance of this place. The cost saving is not worth the headache.

 

If what I hear is correct, Ottawa Tires Direct basically resells packages from Tirerack. If you want a better deal, order directly from Tirerack and pick them up yourself in Ogdensberg.

 

I read too many negative comments about this dealer and decided to order directly from Tire Rack and had the tires delivered to Ottawa. The price difference did not make it worth a trip across the border (plus the logistics of fitting four tires and wheels into the back of my Q5). Tire Rack was excellent - tires arrived before they stated they would, and are perfectly balanced.
