Negotiating a lease for an 09 A4
 

Hi all, I am seriously considering leasing an 09 A4. I have never leased before, as I currently own my 2001 A4 (which I love and hate to depart with). I have been reading on this site about the best times to lease and I know I just missed a factory to dealer rebate window. My question is: Does anyone know when the best time to lease will be? I want to move on this soon but do not want to pay full price if I dont have to. In fact, Ive had some breif discussions with dealers and need them to move a bit on price.

I live in the Niagara Region but have no problem going to the GTA for the best deals.

Can someone enlighten me on the negotiating process for leasing a new A4? Thanks very much.

There's no "best time to lease". We never know what promotions Audi will come out with.
We offer a range of programs such as; supplier program (SPP), diplomat program, fleet program, etc.
SPP is the most common, you simply have to work for an employer that's under the SPP list and you'll qualify for extra discounts and free Audi Care.
Negotiating a lease payment: LP is based on an agreed upon price of the vehicle, very much the same as if you purchased a car.
So, please tell me whom you work for.

I doubt that my employer is on the list. I work for a small, privately owned firm and have for ten years. I guess I will just hit the dealerships and see what comes of it. Im stopping in at Oakville on Saturday and then a few others in the following days...

Generally, the best time to lease would be in the late summer early fall. Right before they start getting the 2010's in. They'll be interested in moving the 2009's to make room for the new cars. I did this a few years ago with my Audi and got a sweet deal.

Worse time for leasing. Residuals are at their lowest. Like I said before, there is no real "best time of the year" to lease/buy a car.
