Hello Multiphrenic & All,

I have 2007 Q7 4.2 and was in dealer to fix sunroof rattle. At same time, mechanic diagnosed one of the bumper sensors to be defective causing the backup beeping to go mute. On that advice, I replaced the defective sensor but still no beeping. Could we meet up to do a Vag Com?

I got a Vag-com with my audi when I bought it so still have to download software on to my wife's laptop as I have a Mac.

I'm new and I own VCDS. KII. Running it from an Alienware Core I7 netbook. I'd be happy to help anyone, but the Durham and Peterborough County North areas are where I'm usually at.

I'm in Edmonton Alberta,
and I have the non-Can Bus Vag-com with the Latest Paid version of Software.


Here are some of the things I have done with my device so far on my 2002 Audi TT:
- Car Locks when speed exceeds 15km/h
- windows unlock from remote FOB
- Tweak fuel, gas mix
- Reset Engine light
- Diagnose Engine problems
- and the list goes on

On other cars (A6, Jetta)
- Reset Airbag Error
- Codded Keys
