thanks!

yeah, you could probably find an RS4 here for about the same price. Importing a cheap 2007 RS4 for example will be at best $38,000 + 6.1% tax + $1500 in shipping/transport/fees + 2.5% currency costs, so total of about $43,000 CDN...then add pst/gst. You can find the odd RS4 with high miles here for around that.

Of course it may take 6 months to find one. This is the real key: selection. There are about a dozen for sale in all of Canada...while there are a hundred for sale in the US.

If a US dealer charges you sales tax, is there a way to get it back?

Im looking at bringing in a 2001/2001 audi tt 180 quattro. Just wanting to know if Audi canada is preventing US cars from entering the country with ridiculous charges to obtain the recall clearance letter.

I brought over my boxster last year and had to pay Downtown porsche $1250 for them to pre inspect my used car out of warranty to get my recall clearance letter.
I still had to go to canadian tire afterwards...

I had no issues with my 2009 model. Thankfully it also already had daytime running lights so I did not need to do any modifications.
