Headlight Lenses Repair Question

My headlight lenses on my wife’s 99 Altima are real dull & cloudy. I thought about replacing them but now I see that there are some restoration kits available.
Has anybody tried anything like this? Any suggestions on what to get?

Thanks

I found these but am not sure if they will work... Symtech 75010010 Bright Solutions Headlamp Polishing Car Care Kit and 3M 39008 Headlight Lens Restoration System

Re: Headlight Lenses Repair Question

My brother recently detailed his TypeS and his headlights were barely visible. After the complete detail his headlights came back like new trust me on that! At night with his Xenon were shinning again like new.
What you need is a wet sanding method that is done with any local bodyshop/detailing/or even rust proofing places that offer this service like Metropolitain Rust proofing in Montreal

Hope that helps!

Totally agree that you need to get advise from a professonal detailer. My son who does detailing said that the proceedure is wet sanding with different grits like 2000 and 1500 then there are three different compounds in progressive applications.

Have never tried the store bought stuff and am not sure I really want to trust it on my S4.
