First oil change question/advice

Default First oil change question/advice
I have an 09 A4 3.2. First required oil change is 8000 km. Call me old fashioned but I would like to change it sooner, at least the first time. My dealer says the car comes from the factory with special "break-in oil" and I should wait for 8000 km or six months. Any advice, thoughts or comments?
