Finally - LCD fixed!
So like many of you, I have been driving around with a busted LCD screen on my Audi. After reading all the other posts, and trying the DIY fixes posted, nothing seemed to work. I decided to bite the bullet, and try a place I heard about from a friend.
The site is called pixelfix and they are located in Mississauga. I pulled my cluster this morning after I drove into work. (Takes 5 mintes - two screws) and had my friend drop it off at his place in the morning. By the end of the day, my cluster was ready. I droped it back in, and presto! Everything is crystal clear. Cost me $180 bucks (no tax) and comes with a one year warranty. Best $$ spent so far. It's great seeing all the info. And if I blow a tail light now, I won't be looking at the rad levels :) I recommend it to anyone wanting to get their LCD fixed. Re: Finally - LCD fixed!
Very cool, thanks for the post
I have recently sent away my abs module for repair ($100), still waiting for it to show up from the USA. If I get screwed, do you know where I can get a relacement. 2000 s4 tip. thanks Scott |
Re: Finally - LCD fixed!
Wow looks mint condition.
I've been blessed with perfect LCD pixels so far and i'm keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way. |
Re: Finally - LCD fixed!
ABS module. Not sure... Check a place in Milton called H2 Sport or something like that. They speciaize in VW and Audi. They seem to have a good deal on parts the last time I checked.

Re: Finally - LCD fixed!
Call the guy or go to the website. He has a lot of options. The screen he installed for me is an aftermarket one.

Re: Finally - LCD fixed!
I have been thinking about getting my LCD fixed. My car is from the USA however, and I don't speak American. Do any of you know if I can convert my units to metric?

Re: Finally - LCD fixed!
buddysnack, you should try to contact the company originally mentioned www.pixelfix.info. On their site they carry entire US and Canadian clusters, so I think they would probably be a good source of information to see if you could just change the LCD and/or reprogram or if more parts were actually necessary.
