Thumbs down ElsaWin - How to use?

Hi there,

I have ElsaWin and I'm trying to use it. Whatever option I go to, the SW says that I have to do a vehicule selection first off. I'm trying to do it, in fact I think I am doing it right, but it never works.

I'm not using the VIN field because when I do, the SW says that I have to launch a query, then opens an IE window, which leads to a non existent web site, and then a "login failed" error message.

Here is a screenshot of what I think is the vehicule identification page, correctly filled.

Plase can you help me solve this strange situation?

Thanks!!

Well, that's nice! But I'm still in need of someone who uses it frequently...

I use it all the time by the sounds of things you have a cracked version of the software that does not function properly.

Yep, I ended up paying a not legitimate copy of this software.

Even though you are absolutely right, I'd appreciate some help on how to use it, because I don't even know what are the capabilities of this SW.

This does not encourage me to buy it again, genuine this time

I am curious now. You say you use it all the time. What are the advantages and what information does it spit out? Is the software a free software?

Thumbs up Re: ElsaWin - How to use?

I purchased one set of elsawin on eBay as well... supposed to be a repair manual for Audi, skoda ,vw and seat. I never used it... I assume is a unauthorized copy and I need to install it again 'cause I can't read german. Supposed to be good with repair advise, part numbers etc... probably combined with a vagcom can be a great tool but yet to see! Lack of time keeps me away from using it, but will try soon.
