The problem is that new cars are impossible to bring over... unless anyone here has some workarounds that you know about.
For used Audis, that site rocks... complicated process, but well laid out and do-able. I have some friends that have brought new/used cars over (just not Audis).

Another site that is important is the car without borders site - just do a search.
This is the only site that actually will fight for your interest with TC and RIV.

I don't think they will achieve anything.
The government doesn't care about a few people who want cars from the US. It doesn't make sense for them to make these exceptions or changes, the rules and policies are in place for a reason.
The only place that is going to make a difference when importing an audi is:
1) a site where community members have imported in the past, be it here or another audi site.
2) Riv
a lot of useless websites popping up left right and center about importing.
At the end of the day, when you get to the border all that matters is what riv.ca says...

I know what I want but each his own ...
Yeah, but it's a proven fact RIV is manipulated by the manufacturers. So are you saying you reversed the decision of RIV when you imported your S4 Cab? or was it an A4 Cab with the S-line package?
.This car was admissible in June. But in subsequent RIV list changes it became inadmissible because of the immobilizer!
As for if I reversed this decision, no. The credit for this has to go to the petitions, the political pressure we as Canadians can put on our government - particularly the folks at cars without borders.
This is not a permanent change, but one that is in place till a better permanent solution is found.
Keep in mind that the process we now have that makes cars inadmissible is blatantly wrong . Add your voice and be able to import that RS4 or R32! TC and RIV need to change when it comes to protecting our interests as Canadians.
Sign the Great Canadian Petition! and pass the word that is all I can urge you to do.
Thanks
