B6 S4 Buying Advice?

Hello everyone,

New to the Audi world so hoping someone can help! Recently, my DD was totaled, so now I'm looking at a B6 S4 from 2005, with about 104k miles.

According to the seller, the clutch and the timing chain was done with the JHM (didn't specify which kit). Seller says he bought the car 7 months ago from a used car dealer at 102k back in Nov '18, and is selling because his friend is offering to sell him his RS4 at a good price. The timing chain was done within the last few months but then this is where it gets funky - at some point his friend who "works on cars all the time) helped him install a Sachs clutch kit (clutch, flywheel, throwout bearing) after the timing chain was done. I've only worked on Hondas myself, but wouldn't it have made more sense to have just gotten the clutch done at the same time as the timing chain?

Besides that, the pictures look to show that it's in good condition. If I did decide to move on this I would definitely get a mechanic to inspect it, but is there anything else I should worry about in terms of reliability at this age/miles?

Thank you!
