5 loud beeps with iPhone connected
Both my wife and myself have iPhone devices. When I connect with USB to charge the phone, there are random, repeating high-pitched beeps like you get with collision avoidance of seat belts. 5 beeps in a row every time, and they keep happening until you disconnect the phone. Both phones are on the same iOS version. At one point my phone worked with CarPlay but that stopped working for some reason a few months back.
So, first question is whether anyone has had this problem and if so how they got it fixed? What's frustrating and annoying other than the noise is I don't see any warning light(s) on the dash that would give me a clue.
Others I talked to said it's the cable - but that doesn't make sense if we have the same phone/iOS version connecting the same way.
Thanks in advance!
