On that Note. I have the Adaptive Xenons from the US. When Crusing the highway the HID seem to be pointed way too low as I can barely see 4 seconds ahead of the car.

It's like the light just stops. When I use the high beams I see about 7X more distance. Can you adjust the adaptive systems?? Pretty slick system otherwise!

also make sure the outer shell is not pitted and yellowed ( you mentioned they are green on startup blue + yellow = green) and aiming them is a great idea...

How old are your HID bulbs? If high mileage, maybe it's time for a pair of new ones.

6500 is more blueish and can look good but it is a little high if you want maximum usable light.

4300 or thereabouts is best for max light output as seen by the driver.

my highbeams are 4300 i think, definately more yellow and they go way further, the hid's are definately brighter but not as much distance. I think they look sharp. my dad want's a set for his TDi. he also tried to put my s4 rims on it! lol woulda looked sharp but no fit!

All stock xenon bulbs are 4300K. That's the colour temperature native to the gas used in these bulbs. All other (higher) colours are achieved by filtering out longer wavelength light, and you lose brightness in the process.
