Default chrome window trim

got a 2009 A4 black with 20% tints but black "plastic" window trim

my car is a bit too blacked out and i would like to get the chrome window trim that comes with premium.. what do you guys think?

how much should it cost and where should i look (how much would dealer do it for?)

I did mine for really cheap and it looks great. You can get chrome stripes from autoparts source , or any car parts store, i think its a 3M product. I put it on 3 months ago and its still as good as new, and it looks much classier. The stripes are a little bit thinner than stock ones, but they do the job perfectly!

Total cost $30

I wanted to do the same thing, when I went to the dealer the guys that do it said it is a big hassle and a big expense, also run into problems with sealing the joints if you replace the black with chrome. The 3M is the cheapest way to go.
