Thanks a lot Rsquad911! Iwill probably go there. For how long have you done your roof? Is it still solid?

Are you talking about the roof of the car or the front hood. Have seen plenty of CF hoods but no CF rooftop. |
Re: carbon fiber roof top for s4 b5
Hood and trunk are already CF. Was curious about the price on a CF roof panel.

Shinzo does vinyl wraps, so I believe Rsquad911 is likely talking about a vinyl wrap to give the look of a carbon fibre roof, not an actual replacement roof made of carbon fibre.

Shinzo Media You can check them out here. It's 3M Carbon Vinyl. Looks pretty damn real. |

If you haven't already, I'd highly recommend getting lighter wheels and brakes. You can shed some serious weight there, and pick up significantly-improved handling as a result. After that, I'd look at seats, removing spare wheel and tool-kit, exhaust (my turbo-back dropped 29lbs! :o), and a lightweight battery. If you want to go hardcore, pull your A/C, strip your sound insulation, and get some lexan windows. I'm down about 225lbs from stock, and have no carbon pieces on my car. Albeit, that's only because my hood is already aluminum, and no one makes a carbon hatch. |
