Audi allroad brushed aluminum bumper valance ripped off on curb!!

Hello,

I currently own a 2001 Audi allroad, my car was parked and from some reason it lowered itself onto the curb and the small brushed aluminium valance on the bottem under the liscance plate pulled forward and broke off from the rest of the bumper, I was wondering if anyone knew what this part was call or the part number? aswell i was wondering if I could fit a RS6 factory bumper onto the car because if I am not mistaken both car's are widebody. Any help would be great

Hey Tm775,

The Skid Plate is #4Z7 807 835 B, but depending upon whether or not there was any damage to the adjoining parts you may also require additional pieces to re-attach it. If necessary, the Plate Mounting Kit is #4Z7 898 039.

Your second question about fitting a RS6 bumper, I was also trying to determine it's feasibility as I was also considering a S6 / RS6 conversion to my 2002 Allroad. Unfortunately I can't say for sure. There are several similarities with the wider avant bodies, but it would appear that there are also several differences that are under the skin. I don't have # for the RS6, but the S6 appears to have, besides a different bumper cover, different shock absorbers, reinforcement bars, and guide brackets. There are some support brackets which are common to the S6 / Allroad, so it may be possible to swap everything, but it does appear to be more involved than just swapping one bumper cover for another.

Maybe a dealer body / repair shop would be able to provide you with a more concrete answer. Just let me know what you find out. ;)

Good luck!
