Anyone know any US Audi Dealers that sells to Canadian and knows what theyre doing when importing the cars from US to canada?

if im not mistaken the US audi dealers get a fine if they sell a new car to a canadian....search on this forum...there was something about that.

 

Actually, although I am sure you're right about that, I'm also sure that it would be quite easy to find at least one private US-based (non-Audi) dealer who would purchase from the dealership then resell/export to Canadians for a small fee...

I was in the market for a BMW a few months back and got in touch with a dealer in Ogdensburg, NY (right near the border, approx 1.5hrs from Ottawa where I am). He only deals in exotics and mostly european cars, and he was willing to find me whatever I was looking for.

And I did bring up the question about buying straight from a BMW dealer and reselling immediately to me, and he looked very willing to do it for a quick buck.
