Audi Forum - Posts like an A1

New to the Audi world

So I am looking at purchasing Audi A3 or A4. I currently own a VW TDI Jetta.
I am in no big rush and I am doing a lot of research.
I have a few questions and I hope someone on here can help me,

1- I am looking at purchasing an used 2009-2013, what are some of problems I could be facing with this age range?
2-Can I buy one and get the CPO done at an audi dealer?
3-As far as maintenance cost how does it compare with my VW?
