Re: Looking for reputable Audi Dealership
Any suggestions on getting the Immobilizer Secret Key Code (SKC). Dropped into Pfaff dealership and they said they couldnt help me (I'll pay if thats what it takes).
I'm trying to add a key to the immobilizer.

Re: Looking for reputable Audi Dealership
I agree 100% with the previous post. John worked on my car the first time and found something that he could very well have just ignored and I would never have know the difference. He even replaced the missing lug caps free of charge.
Their customer service is decent as well. They offer decent beverages & snacks ( great variety ), reading material and even a ride home if need be.
My only beef is the wait time, if you decide to wait around... 2 hours plus for simple stuff....I was in line first this morning, arrived at 745 AM sharp and the car was brought in immediately. The MIL light was on. They replaced a fuel pressure sensor and one of the evap valves ( one was leaking ). I didn't get out of there until 945AM. Last time around ( John ), the MIL was on and they performed general maintenance and flashed the ECU ( this is some sort of recall BTW ) and it took me 2 hours + to get out of there...
Overall though, for a dealership, they seem to be one of the better ones...

I was just wondering what kind of Gas (gas station wise) You would preffer put in. I know its 91 octane, but does Shells VPower, Petro 91, Sunoco 94 or even Canadian Tires 91. Is there any shore fire gas that gives you the millage you want I have just broke the 1000kms I am at about 1300 not shore but i get almost 500kms on a tank is that normal?
Anyone else want to comment?

Re: Looking for reputable Audi Dealership
Hi there,
I have never been to Audi in Mississauga therefore i cannot comment on it. However, I have been to Audi in Hamilton numerous times. They fix your problem as they are knowledgeable but they rip you off by chaning few other things that are not wrong and don't need to be replaced. In particular the mechanics in the back shop and the service advisor, Scott, don't give a damn how much you would be spending. They want to change as many parts as possible so that they secure their employment.
Service is very friendly, ( politically).
Cheers

Re: Looking for reputable Audi Dealership
By the way, AVOID Owasco Audi dealership in Whitby, Ontario. They are underhanded and dishonest. They tried to sell me a pre-owned vehicle with a broken windshield. (that actually didn't pass safety inspection and was actually legally unsellable at the time). Only AFTER signing the purchase agreement, was I told it would take 4-6 weeks to get the parts to fix it. They wanted me to pay in full first (and drive away a car with a broken windshield) But when I said I would not pay for the car in full until the windshield was fixed, somehow MIRACULOUSLY the windshield could be fixed in a week!!!
They are obviously feeling the downturn in economy and will do anything for a sale. I would not trust them one bit. The Manager and Owner of the dealership were also arrogant and rude.

Do not go to Queenway Audi, on a good day, they are complete idiots. I've taken my car there for service 3 times. And every time, I've been hugely disappointed. Not only is the work half ***, but the advice they give you is even worse. PM me if you want the details.

I blew a coil pack on a sat night and the guys there took one out of a used car to get me on my way at no cost!!! I dont know any other dealer that would do that.

I like Oakville. It's 2 mins from my house, but they're also good. Helen is a nice service rep. She'll treat you well if you're nice to her!
plus you don't have to drive to Hamilton this way.
whenever I want to know what people think of something, I look for the worst.
google 'Oakville Audi Sucks' or scam or ripoff etc.
see what comes up. Good luck

I am in the Burlington area. The closest dealerships are Hamilton Audi and Oakville Audi ( Oakville is closer ).
I am @ 61,800 KM with plenty still remaining on my bumper to bumper and PT warranty, so I would need a dealership for the time being as there is another small problem that exists with the car ( MIL light is illuminated, not flashing ).
Anyone know where I can find reviews on these two dealerships? Any recommendations? Anyone had a good or poor experience with one or both dealerships? Hamilton Audi is very busy ( booking a week ahead ), Oakville doesn't seem to be at all ( booking a couple of days ahead ). Now I don't know if that has to do with an Audi dealership being readily available in Mississauga or if one is more reputable than the other. Maybe it has virtually nothing to do with anything other than timing.
If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it. I just purchased this Audi and it is due for some servicing and that small problem does exist ( hopefully it is small ).
After my 80,000 KM is done and over with, does anyone have a recommendation for a garage?
