For those in the GTA
The weather is finally getting better.
Would be nice to meet other Audi owners and chat a bit about our experiences, maybe even go for a short cruise.
Let's give our cars a nice wash & wax (they deserve it regardless) and get together.

Post a reply if you're interested. We can try to do something between June and Aug (let's see which day works best for the majority).

You just picked up the new A4? Nice. A lot of details in the design that I think people don't take the time to appreciate.
I hope we get others who are willing to meet up.

 

Thanks hangtime10. Yeah I just picked up the new A4 a few days ago.
I am coming from an 03 Camry so this is a huge step up in many respects.
The only thing that I miss so far from my camry was its overall size. Passengers always had more than enough room, even in the middle seat. Can't say the same for the A4. However, the A4 has such a nice drive feel to it and has so many creature comforts.

You are right, there are tons of details in the design. I am still learning about the car, I really love the interior ambient lighting, the steering wheel, how the headlights turn or illuminate the corner as I am making a turn, the handsfree trunk, how the parking brake is automatically engaged in certain circumstances. I always maintain that my first german car was going to be a BMW, but the Audi was such a better value.

 

There's a lot to appreciate about owning a German car. I've always liked Audi but until now wasn't able to afford one.
I took a test drive of the new A4 at a launch party and I loved the acceleration, the interior and smoothness of the car. German cars have a very solid feel that non German makers just can't match.
Of the 3 German makers I prefer Audi, even though I have uncles that are MB and BMW mechanics.


Looks like Audizine.com has a meet up on the last Thurs of each month. We should try and join that group.??

I joined also. They seem to have more active users.
They meet up at the Home Depot by the Allen and 401 on the last Thurs of the month.
We just missed the May meet up. Hopefully the weather and turnout will be good for June. I'm planning on going.

Audi True North meet up at Krispy Kreme in Mississauga (Mavis and Britannia) tomorrow night (Fri Jun 3/16) - between 8 to 9.

 

GTA Audi meet up at the Home Depot (Dufferin and Wilson) on Thurs June 30th.
This meet actually happens on the last Thurs of each month.
