Eurodyne Stage 1 tune

For anyone thinking about getting at least a Stage 1 tune, I would highly recommend it. I've had my B6 1.8TQ 5-spd for 3 years and I initially was going the APR route but then read great things about Eurodyne. I narrowed it down to either Unitronic out of Laval, QC or Eurodyne since they're both Canadian. Plus, I've read that APR may be glitchy and the local distributor wanted over CAD$650 + HST.

I got mine at Euro Spot in Scarborough and was done in less than 10 min. What a difference and I can't believe I haven't done it sooner. It's great for around town drive-ability and gives a very nice push on the backside.

I now have to swap out my motor mounts because they're leaking so I ordered 034 Motorsports Street Density mounts and an OEM snub mount in order to handle the extra twist. Plus the factory ones have been leaking for a while.

I've just taken a road trip from T.O. to New Brunswick and back and I have to say that the fuel usage is incredible for the extra power. I set it on cruise at the maximum allowed 120km/h (*wink, wink*) on the 401 and the 20 in Quebec and I've calculated by hand my mileage at just over 7L/100Km. That's fantastic and I'm really impressed!!!

This is extra power is all I want and totally transforms the car. I have to wait and see if it's gonna pass the E-Test due early 2016. If not, the guys at Euro Spot tells me that they'll flash it back to stock for free just to do the E-Test.

Just wanted to share my experience :p
