Hey I looked up the links for my b7 a4...but i wasnt able to find anything for if the projector headlight is exact same shape as the regular halogen headlight for the 2006 audi a4

You need to change the complete headlight assembly.

ye..so I can just buy like the projector headlight version and just take out my halogen ones and put the projector ones in rite..and den put my after market HIDs in after...dats what i want to know..cause i want to know if the projector and halogen is the EXACT same shape...
