Audi Dealer Montreal/Laval

Hello Guys,

a friend from Laval is thinking to switch from BMW to Audi *yeah*. I am wondering if you guys could give some recommendations for good/reliable Audi dealers (and Audi Brand Specialists) which I could pass on to him.

Much appreciated.

I deal with Christian at Audi Niquet in St-Bruno (just south of montreal), and he is very helpfull and a great salesman. Can't say nothing wrong about him.

Hope this help.

Audi Lauzon (in Laval) is one of the best dealers in Montreal. Go see Anik.

I won't go in any details but Audi Lauzon (and Lexus Laval just down the street) both gave me the worst experience a customer can go through. AVOID. (IMHO)

I had bad experience with Park Avenue Audi located on the south shore where I bought my car.

Since then I go to Popular Audi downtown Montreal and they have provided me with good service every time. I highly recommend them.

I've been dealing with Audi Niquet in St-Bruno too. Nothing but good things to say about them. As opposed to the other choices on the south shore, this is a familly run dealership that only does Audi and Volks. Park Avenue is to avoid.

Talk with Christian for sales.

Downtown Montreal, I've got some good feedback from Popular Audi but never experienced it myself.

Re: Audi Dealer Montreal/Laval

The car I bought was a certified vehicle.

The brakes in the back were making a grinding noise and there was a burnt bulb in the back. I told the salesman and he said not to worry, they're covering everything at the inspection. Plus he said the grinding noise is coming from non Audi brake pads. The credit director told me the same thing about the inspection covering everything. Nobody took notes of anything.

A couple of days later I picked up my car after work (between 5 and 6 pm) and was in a rush. The brakes were still making that noise and the light was still burnt.

I never came back for the problems since I live on the other side of the bridge and it's not very convenient. I ended up changing the bulb + brakes myself, good thing I'm pretty handy at these things. And since I work for Napa, I get parts at almost cost. Plus we hold the Zimmerman rotors and some ceramic pads for my baby, no grinding noise afterward.

The old brakes in the back were actually due for replacement.

To top it all, the very first weekend a coilpack failed and that's when I had my first experience with Popular Audi. Now for the coilpack, I'm not sure they could have picked it up at the inspection.

I just want to point out I did not have any problems since (other than a 2-3 burnt bulbs)
