How are you? I'm Adam from Toronto, I stumbled upon your forum.. and hope you can help or provide some insight.

I've been a long-time luxury car owner (A Japanese make - very reliable, zero issues and a joy to own), but I simply cannot stop thinking about the 2004 Audi A8L; 10 years on, it is the most contemporary of them all (it looks like it could be a 50k or 70k car).



Ok, so I've been looking on Kijiji and have seen this 2004 A8L with 100k for just $11k (I cannot post the link, but its on Kijiji Toronto) with a dealer. Problem is it's been there for 6 months. I want to buy, drive and sell off in a year, and move on to my next dream car.

My questions, if you kindly will help me with them:

• - What are the drawbacks that you've personally faced while owning this model year/generation vehicle?
• - Do the 100's of pieces of electronic equipment need replacement or repair regularly? (i.e. does the car have one problem after another)?
• - Is insurance very steep? My current mid-size luxury car (insured with family), clean record, I pay about $180.
• is this a decent price for the car? (if it checks out to be accident & problem-free)
