Default A8 Recalls

I was doing a little bit of research on problems that the A8 might have, and I found that the 2004 A8 was recalled for frontal air bag issues. I am wondering if this is something I should look for in other years as well. Also, I could not find out exactly what was wrong with the air bag, can somebody point me in the right direction?

Roughly 36,000 Audi A8 sedans from 2002 to 2004 are being recalled worldwide for faulty airbags that may not fully inflate. An internal check discovered the defect and no customers have reported problems. Owners will have the affected airbags replaced. The numbers may seem small because it involves such premium priced sedans, but this is a full-scale recall.

Full scale recalls do cost....them. What a headache for A8L owners.

Was going to add, that it kind of pisses me off. The A8 is not cheap to buy new or lease, resale isn't hot but come on Audi.
