'07 A8 rear head restraints - change options???
One of the very few things I don't like about the '07 A8 is the size of the rear headrests. We probably only have rear seat occupants about a dozen times a year. The OE head restraints are so large that they block about 30% or more of the rear vision through the mirror. We have one important intersection with a very sharp and angled uphill entrance. The right rear headrest makes it almost impossible to view oncoming traffic from the right (coming around a sharp corner). I have the right side exterior mirror adjusted to give as much assistance there as possible, but really miss the direct view by turning my head and seeing through the rear window.
Are there any other options that anyone has found for having rear head restraints that are much less restrictive in rear view vision??? Any suggestions or achieved results are most appreciated.
