Wondering about Stage 1 tuning.

Hello everyone.

I am looking at doing some tuning from Calgary Autoworks Revo Stage 1 tuning.

I am wondering is there anyone done it?

if so,

how do you like it?

any issues?

is it really worthy?

I am open to any input on this....

thanks.

is our TT the 225 or 180?

either way a chip on a 1.8t is alot of fun!

def worth it

you have options around town though

tunedub and eutuning do upsolute
concept1 does APR (i have APR on my s4)
tunerworks does GIAC/awe
and autoworks does REVO

hmm... I think everyone has different opinion about it. They recommended me to change Spark plug, BOV, and coil, just in case something goes wrong. All these are pretty much basic stuff I should do already, but wondering about does it going to damage engine or turbo? Sounds like every experienced bit differently.

Re: Wondering about Stage 1 tuning.

I agree, the reality is in all honestly your turbo will not last as long. The engine can take the power no problem. It depends also which chip you go with as they are all different, and you need to look at where your average RPM range is and what the power peeks are at during that range, and you will figure out which chip suits you best. Some of them are really agressive, some lack power until the high rpms. You also Have a VAST tuning expert in town and can do custom tunes, this is why you should come out to the meet :) we wont hurt ya!
