2004 S4 Drivers Side Window Help

Hey everyone, I met a few of you at a meet a month or two ago. I have just moved up to Calgary from Oklahoma. This evening I was out and the drivers side window on my 2004 S4 has become stuck a quarter of the way up. As I was putting it down I heard a few loud clicks and now when I try to put it up and down it sounds like it is trying to move however wont budge. In doing a bit of research it sounds like it is more than likely a regulator issue.

I am planning on taking it into the Audi dealership tommorow but figured I would check with you guys first to see if any of you had encounted this problem and/or what it would cost to fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also are there any cheaper service places in town than the main dealership?

Try George at Tunedub. He's very very good!

The door cards are fairly simple to remove, then you can have a peak at the window during operation. If you want to know how to pull it, send me a PM

On some window regulators, there is a bulletin to widen the bottom track of the window as it gets stuck in there because it isn't wide enough, it is a actual bulletin. If you do replace the window regulator it may not make a difference at all.
