sirius satellite tuner
 

advice on installing a tuner for my already wired 2004 A4 sedan for satellite radio. I bought a used tuner and installed it today but the radio still says NO SAT RADIO. I'm thinking there is something else that needs to be plugged in. I tried activating a signal but it didn't work. Anybody have this experience yet?

Not sure how the 2004 works, but on the 2007, there is a panel under the passenger side-wall in which you have to move the factory harness from its current position to the slot directly next to it. This apparently tells the head unit that there is a Sat Radio installed....I don't know the location on the panel on an 04 though.
