Sirius for 05 B6 A4 1.8t

Does anyone know if it is possible to install the AUDI oem sirius module into the BOSE symphony? Bose says it is but, when i ordered the unit from my dealer they couldn't fit it. apparently it's because i have a Canadian version of the 05?Is:confused there anyway around this? i have already paid for the module and i'm kinda stuck. any help would be appreciated.
