I recently picked up a 2012 S4 with the MMI Nav and B&O soundsystem, absolutly love the sound.

While going through the manual I discover that the system also supports video, popped in a DVD and sure enough, was able to watch and hear the movie, pretty neat. When the car moves (saftey feature) the video will blank out, yet the audi will continue to play. My question, how can this be overridden via some hack so the video will continue to play? Would be nice for my passenger to have this ability on roadtrips.

Can a stereo shop do this?

Vac com mod. Very easy I have done it to my video plays all the time (not that I use it) it's not safe.

Yeah it is easily done with the Vag-Com change the speed from 0km/h to 255km/h in the menu and done. Well its a lenghtier process than that but you get the picture.
