Ipod problem - A3
 

Hi there
New to the forum and in need of your help.

i have a problem setting up the ipod to my Audi.

I recently bought an Audi A3 2009 model which in the glovebox has an ipod dock, so i searched how to connect it but having difficulties working it.

I connect the ipod (without a wire) it clips on the dock, and i see an Audi symbol on my ipod which that means has identified it or synchronised right?

I press the Cd button repeatedly as i found out that is the procedure, but it shows a cd-changer message no-cd and the numbers 1-6. I tried switching to the numbers quickly but it doesn't let me.

I've searched everywhere but no solution.
I've reset the ipod and fully charged it as somewhere was suggested but without any luck, also i made a coupld of playlists but again back to zero.

I've seen AMI ipod cable but i figured since it connects directly that is not necessary right?

Any ideas would be helpful and appreciated

Wow it's shocking how such a simple thing has been made so complicated and how there is no information online at all. What are you using now?
