iPhone Integration
 

Hello everybody.

I am considering buying a 2007 A4 2.0T and am an owner of an iPhone 4. I am wondering what my options are for integration. I do not want to go through FM. I would like to be able to control the music from steering wheel mounted controls but if I'm not mistaken that isn't possible unless the car had USB integration.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Not sure about the 07's but I know my 09 has an iPod integer ration built in. I can scroll throw my playlists etc. I guess you could update your whole mmi but not sure about costs etc.

Dension Gateway 5 lets you do exactly that, and it has optional bluetooth too. I was wondering the exact same thing today and that's what I came up with after a bit of research. Hope that helps!

You can always buy a car radio interface to integrate your iphone. I know Alpine has one for sale for 120$ US. Im gonna check local stores to see if anyone has anything like that. You might not be able to control the music from the wheel mounted controls but at least you wont need to use those stupid long charging sticks and FM transmitters. Just a tought.

I'm using the Dension Gateway 100. Installed one in a friend's 07 A4 Avant as well. Works really well for the cost.

look for ipod integration stuff on the ECStuning website.... I know DICE sells a kit that allows you to control your ipod from the steering wheel
