Bose speakers 2 04 ohms?
 

Bought an o4 s4 avant and my bose cd player is jammed. was looking to put an aftermarket head unit in. But apparently need to know if the speakers are 2 or 4 ohms. Has anyone just swapped out the deck and avoided replacing the entire system and improved their sound? Plus any info on the compatability of the amp?

2 or 4 ohms is a ussual ratings , the cd jamming in your Bose might be due tot he tray belt , you can just swap out the deck

Yes i could swap out the deck but they want $500 at the audi dealership for the original bose system. Thats why Im considering an aftermarket system.....

I have seen the bose system sell for $250 around the forums so keep looking

after gutting my bose speakers and amp, it is all 2 ohm.
