It's funny, the first time I referred to the car as a sleeper car to my girlfriend, she understood it literally and responded: "Yeah, I guess we could sleep in it as a last resort if we lowered the back seats" As for the Avant, I more enjoyed hearing Ian say he gave up looking for an Avant and settled for a sedan. Made the 3 years of searching that much more worth it

so you guys have drawers? 2006 I guess. Weird. 2006-2008 US cars have a flip out compartment, only under driver's side. B6 and 2005.5 US cars have the drawers. Canada 2006 cars are weird. They have many of the 2005.5 US car characteristics, not 2006 US cars (i.e. this drawers thing...the armrest is different...the DRL switch isn't there on Canada cars...)

Idiot buzzers....
If I start the car then open the door (say to warm it up while I do something else) it starts screaming at me telling me the door is open. I know the F'ing thing is open, I just OPENED it! Why cant it wait till the car starts moving to do this? A nicer noise like a bell or a chime, even a german lady with a thick accent calling you a dumb *** would be nicer than that WEEEAAAHHHH noise.
I feel better now... rant rant.

On a more serious note you can get that eliminated via VAGCOM. I had my seat belt alarm deleted. Sure I will always use the seat belt just don't want to hear about it every time I get into the car.
