I always think about this for fuel efficiency...good question. I have a very heavy B7 S4. They must weigh 3900 pounds or so. Seems ridiculous.

how about your spare tire...is it a full sized spare? or a donut? donut will save you 10-20 pounds. The toolkit for changing the tire too...maybe you can get a lightweight kit. Every little bit helps. Porsche saved grams by using a sticker for the Porsche logo on the hood of the GT3 CS.

Unsprung weight is where you'll really want to save the lbs though.

Depends how extreme you want to go.

Remote mount light weight battery. Can be put in the original location too, but seeing as your shifting the weight balance around, why not delete the full size spare and put the battery back there to bring it closer to a 50/50 dist.

Remove all the sound deadening and extra insulation in the doors and so on. Gets a little louder in the car though and kinda ruins the point of an Audi unless it`s a track oriented car.

Switch to a c/f hood, trunk and front fenders.

Get some good aftermarket NON-ELECTRIC seats. The originals are porky, big time.

Lexan windows...pretty much track only at that point.

Lastly...lose some weight.
