Well I finally bought the set.
The rims are noted on the Invoice as:
RS4 R79 18 X 8 5 X 112 +35 (with Bolts)
The tires are noted as:
Pirelli 225/45R18 95H XL W210 Sottozero.

thanks for the info.
I had my car in the shop for 18 mo service and asked about winter tires/wheels. By fluke they had a set of RS6 wheels (18") with Dunlop snow tires on them (also 225/45-1
. Got the set for about $2,500 (tax incl) which is maybe a few hun more than if I were to go to tirerack and order replica wheels, but the convenience of having it all done while I was getting my service done was well worth the extra $$.....plus now I have OEM wheels.
