RS 5 Keyless Entry System Re-Sync Question
 

Hello All,

My first plea for help - I've had my 2014 RS 5 for five days now, and I cannot for the life of me determine how to properly re-sync my key fobs with the keyless entry system. I did do a thorough search (I think) of the forum, and also Googled the issue - there's some old information here, and lots of information on the Web about this with many different manufacturers. So far I have not found a single instruction that says "do this with your 2014 RS 5 and it will be fine". I've seen lots of generic "how to resync Audi key fobs", but also lots of warnings that I could overwrite the information already on my fobs. The manual says nothing about it, and I don't want to pay a dealer to do it. I've seen lots of information of this type on the Infiniti site to which I also subscribe so I assume that type of information can be found here as well. Can anyone direct me to an information source that will provide me with the required steps for doing this with my Audi? Or, at the very least, tell me that I'm wasting my time trying to find a DIY instruction. Thanks in advance to those who reply.
