my audi is totaled; stuck with honda accord...1991... automatic.
A dumb guy turn right in front of me on a red light: my car is dead. So from now on, I'm in the market to find a clean s4 b5, low km, manual and not raced. Is that car good in winter? Probably, 'cause my 2.8 was a tractor, but with the 250 hp, is it driveable?

Sorry to hear the bad news and hope everyone is alright!
A maintained stock and even Stage III B5 S4 are definitely drivable in winter... less of a tractor and more of a rocket tho :) Maybe ask jface about his S4 for sale in this forum |

You don't have to limit yourself to a low mileage car, as a well maintained higher mileage car will not have anything worse than the other. Also, keep in mind that when you buy a low mileage car, you're going to face the series of failed components around 100-130K. I'm at 180K and having fixed everything the car is awesome. Only thing left to do is the valve cover gaskets which I might do tomorrow after finishing up my brakes and control arm kit. GL with the hunt though.

I have a 2000 S4 for sale. It has 165000 km and it is all stock. I have all the service records and I am the second owner. Just did new wheel bearings, front upper control arms and new front brakes in the last year. Timing belt was done at 133000 km. I have 16' winter tires on alloy rims as well. I am in Ottawa (613) 252-2443.
