I am new to the forum and the Audi world and I would really appreciate your help. I will be moving back to Canada (Toronto specifically) in the next couple of months after having lived and worked overseas for many years. I have always dreamed of owning an S6 and will be hopefully looking to get a certified pre-owned 2007 in good condition probably from a dealer.

However, my biggest concern is the maintenance and insurance costs. Can anyone shed any light on the approximate costs so I can factor these into my decesion?

I don't have a S6 but do have a 2010 S4. In terms of insurance, my rate is only $1200 a year (pleasure use not for work). You're best bet for insurance is if you are part of an affinity program (eg. U of T alumni, CBA etc...).

Mantenance on audi's in general aren't cheap and reliability isn't the greatest but they sure are fun to drive.
