Default Leather or Suede ?

I'm thinking of buying an S4 from the US, this is a simple post: Leather seats ? Or the suede seats.

I can't view more than pictures before buying, so I want to know if the suede can hold up as long as the leather, and look just as good with a few years use in it as leather would look after a few years use?

The Ash (off-white) one I would expect to be kind of hard to keep looking clean.. .does anyone have experience with this?

I'll make your decision easy.... You CANNOT import a US S4 to Canada...

Go to Registrar of Imported Vehicles RIV: How to import a U.S made vehicle into Canada and look at the list of inadmissable vehicles.

Trust me, I was so pissed off last night to find out the B6S4 is not allowed when I found a great one for $19k in Chicago.

Ya I know. At the time i started looking you were able to import them. I noticed that it was put on the list recently, so I acted too slow and missed out.

Sucks that we can't import them anymore but I think that the leather would be easier to care for in the long term. However you can't deny that "suede gets you laid."

Remember, if it rhymes it must be true.

Check the list again lads...some 04 and 05 S4 sedans/wagons are ADMISSABLE. Depends on the VIN

As are all 2006-2008 S4 sed/avant

Woo Hoo!

P.s. The suede (white) gets dirty...annoyingly pulls Żour shirt out the back of your pants when you slide in...but holds you FIRMLY in place when you really hang the car through.a turn. Personally, being tall, I need leather to allow me to slide in and out.

Cheers
