Default Floor Mats and Trim Kit

While some folks may find a walnut dash classy, I am hoping to switch mine to something a little more slick - like a piano black finish. Do any of you know where I can pick up a new trim kit for a B5? I saw something online for about $2k, which is WAAAY more than I want to spend.

Also, I need some new floormats. Anyone know of where to get some good ones? (did they make them with RS4 embossing?)

Thanks,

C

Yeah. I got some really nice rubber ones from the dealer. I highly recommend them.

get in touch with MATT@OCARBON

ocarbon.com

he will take your stock trim...overlay it with carbon fibre (REAL carbon fibre, in layers, and clearcoated)...and will send it back to you for about $600. It's fantastic looking.

Not sure about B5 floormats. B6/7 have the great Audi Sport mats. Maybe there is something similar for the biturbo guys?

I had my walnut trim painted piano black. I love the way it looks! I will try to post some pics. It was actually pretty easy to remove the trim on my B5 S4, although it took me a bit to figure it all out. I got the info on how to do it here: Beltline Trim Removal and Installation Shortcut Method

Try LLTek. They are a montreal-based company that spacialize in european customization.

For about 450$ you can select a variety of kits/patterns. it includes all of your trim, every single piece. unlike o-carbon, you don't have to send them your light bird's eye maple dash... however, o-carbon provides you with an actual trim replacement while LLTek provides you with a trim kit that installs over your original trim.

hope this helps.

go with trim replacement. this will give you a better OEM look and prevent from any pieces popping up
