As some of you might or might not know, my S4 was hit this past winter bad enough that I needed a new front passenger door. After making some new friends at work (Mercedes Benz). One of the guys next door at the body shop agreed to help me out by finding me a door and doing the body work needed to get me back to better than new. Including repainting the whole passenger side of my car (for now hehe).

I took some cool pics over the past few weeks, as soon as we're done tomorrow I'll post them. Including the mixing of the colour and various stages of the process... it was a pretty interesting go.

Having friends like this means I got to help with all stages including disassembly, mixing of the colour, sanding, cleaning. I found out that Nogaro Blue is a mix of 4 colours, 3 of which are various shades of blue, two having a fine metallic pearl in it, then the fourth being just white.

I just had my door replaced and the full left side of my car repainted. I took various pics from all the steps. It was pretty interesting. I thought I'd share with you guys.
