2018 S5 Sportback issues?
 

Does anyone else have this issue? The Auto Start/Stop shuts off the engine prematurely while the car hasn't fully stopped.
Really annoying considering that you can't have it OFF by default it resets every time you start the car again. Audi dealer ran diagnostics and said it's normal but NO WAY that this is normal, had this same feature on my 2014 Q5 and it would only shut off when fully stopped not while the car is still moving 1-3km/hr on the way to stop.

My S4 does the same thing and apparently it is normal. I was reading through the owners manual and in the section that talks about the auto start/stop it actually says that it shuts the engine off just before you come to a complete stop.

Yes they told me it's normal too, however I had a 2014 Q5 with the auto start/stop too and it was very smooth and only shut down when the car came to a complete stop... I think Audi is brushing this shortcoming under the rug until enough people complain for them to issue a recall with a fix...

I have a 2019 S4. The same thing happens with mine so I think this is normal.
Just remember to press the bypass button or keep in sport mode...lol
