Did a long road trip - managed 8.6 L/100km. Generally in the city I get around 12-13 L/100km and mixed around 10.5 L/100km. These numbers are all based on the what the car's computer says so I'm assuming these are slightly understated and real world is slightly worse. Also, mileage improved over time - have just under 7K km's at present.

 

I got 8.0 L/100km on a 400 km return trip recently (7.8 in one direction and 8.2 in the return direction). This is with the trip computer. I manually calculated a 1000 km trip and it came out to 8.45. My last tank of gas was 100% city and got 11.4 with a manual calculation. I don't have a heavy foot in most circumstances, but do go WOT sometimes.

 

I got 7.9 for 175 km on Saturday, however, I reset the computer once I got up to speed and checked when i was getting off the highway. I leave my mileage thing on now as it helps me obtain better numbers. The mileage really falls when driven hard

 

I think it's also depends with which transmision it is? Or i'm wrong?

 

pardon my stupidity, but I have two follow-up questions to your questions: one, are all s models quattros? And two, would an A4 S-Line expect to get the same gas mileage as an A4 S model?

BTW, where is everybody on the site today? Getting their snows put on?
