Default 2006 S4 Sat Radio - No Pre-Wire?

My first Audi (1 month ago) and my first post...here goes...

I have a 2006 S4 (LOVE!) with Nav (RNS-E, I believe it's referred to as). Purchased a Sirius Sat radio module on EBay. Installer said that there was no wiring harness in the trunk, as was expected. The install could thus not take place. I called the dealer - if not pre-wired, then $5000 to install!?! Is it true that some 2006 models with Nav did not come pre-wired for Sat radio? Are there any other options for getting it to work through the factory deck?

Thanks!

it's possible.

How much did you pay for it? Let me know if you want to sell it.

About US$100 on EBay (must have been a wrecker). Going to hold onto it for now. Does your A4 have the harness in the trunk?
