New never mounted, 35mm offset and 57.1 mm hubcentric (fits Audi and newer VW). Have the correct lug bolts and real Audi center caps.

I'm new to the board and to Audi's as a whole. I'm in the market for a new2me car and I'm strongly leaning towards the 02 or 03 A4 or a 99 A6 Wagon.

The 02 is Certified, as is the 99 Wagon, 03 isn't but still has factory warrant remaining.

Mileages:
02: 80k
03: 80k
99: 130k

These are all automatics (fine w/ me, not into mods) and I don't know what to look for when buying an Audi..

I'm safety oriented ( 2 kids ), as well as looks and reliability (big one as well).. Which would be better????

The Wagon is the cheapest, the 02 and the 03 are 3k appart (with the 02 being the more expensive one - perhaps due to being certified?)... though I'm pretty sure I could get them to lower the price.. then the question arises - quattro or 2wd?

Also, which is the safest and has the best track record? What about maintenance - which requires the least amount of trips to the shop and is the cheapest for parts? ( I'm a regular maintenance-phobe... hey - if you love it, maintain it, you get to keep it...)

I'm looking to keep this car for quite a few years (our 2nd driver... and _my_ car *g*) so again, reliability is a must!

ARGH! Choices.. choices.....

As a last zinger - I've also looked at the 04 Volvo S60 AWD and an 02 Volvo S60 - but damn.. I want an Audi!

I live in calgary, and there isnt much access to performance filters as mentioned in some of the american audi forums (AW, AZ etc...)... After much research i found that going to the VW dealership and buying the passat b5 oil filter was just as effective...if not cheaper than buying from the audi dealership.
